The pool
A swimming pool on the grounds
Fenced on every side, with shallow steps so dogs walk in at their own pace.
Not a paddling tub. A full swimming pool on the grounds, fenced on every side, with shallow steps so dogs can walk in at their own pace and get out whenever they like.
A handler is at the water's edge the entire time it is in use. Dogs who want to swim, swim. Dogs who would rather watch from the shade are left to watch from the shade — nobody is put in the water.
Swimming takes the weight off the joints, which matters for big breeds, older dogs, and anyone recovering from an injury. It builds condition without the pounding a long walk puts through the legs. On a hot Amman afternoon it is also, simply, the best part of the day.
The pool is open through the warm months and comes with the stay. It is not an extra to be bought separately, and it is never compulsory.
Who it is for
- Dogs staying overnight — included in every boarding stay
- Doggy Day Camp members — included in membership
- High-energy breeds who need more than a walk
- Older dogs and dogs recovering from injury, where low-impact exercise helps

Shallow end first
They walk in. We never put them in.
The steps at the near end are shallow, so a dog can stand in a few inches of water and decide for themselves. Most work their way deeper over a few visits. Some never do, and that is a perfectly good outcome.
A handler is at the edge every time the pool is in use — not watching from the office window.

In the water
In off the steps, and the length of the pool
Dogs walking in off the shallow steps under their own steam, swimming the length, and a handler at the edge throughout.
