Flying your pet abroad
The paperwork, the crate, the vet timings and the drive to the airport.
Talk to us before you book your own flight. Some destinations require blood tests with waiting periods that cannot be shortened — in a few cases several months. A flight booked first can force a date that the paperwork simply cannot meet.
Moving a pet between countries is mostly a documents problem, and the documents have to be done in the right order. An import permit may depend on a rabies titre test, the titre test depends on a vaccination given far enough in advance, and the health certificate at the end is only valid for a short window before departure. Get the order wrong and the whole sequence restarts.
We have done this before and we will walk the sequence with you from the start: what your destination requires, when each appointment has to happen, and which of them have a deadline that cannot move.
What we handle
- Document checks, and the order they have to be done in
- An airline-approved crate, sized to your pet
- Vet appointments and health certificates timed to the flight
- Liaison with the airline on your behalf
- Transport to the airport, with a handler alongside
Your pet can board with us in the run-up if that makes the timings easier — vet visits and the final checks then happen from here, without you driving back and forth.
What it costs
Quoted per journey. The requirements differ by destination, airline and the size of your pet, so there is no useful flat price — tell us where you are going and we will put a figure to it.
Saturday to Thursday, 9:00 to 5:00
Tell us where you are going
The earlier we start, the more room there is in the schedule. Message us with the destination and your rough dates.
